Running, running, running. Why does this app need to think about the answer. The widget HP12C emulator is instant. The delete key deletes the entire entry. It would be better if it deleted a character at a time.

The HP 12C is a standard in the financial world. I have the HP 12C App on my iPhone, iPad2 and now on my MacBook Pro. It really works just like the HP 12C Calculator. My wife purchased this when she was in Real Estate and that is where I learned about RPN calculators. Absolutely LOVE it.

I own the actual calculator and that led me to buy the iPad and iPhone App and eventually the computer version. The HP12C is easy to use on the iPad and iMac but if you have an OtterBox Defender Case for your iphone, the HP12C "key touch" can be a pain. In other words, the extra layer of plastic on top of the screen prevents some keys on the HP12C from responding - not every time, but frequently enough to be irritating. You have to press much harder. Overall the HP12C Apps are better than the real thing and I highly reccommend the APP especially the iMac version which I use constantly. The amortization capability alone is worth the price. DR

This perfectly realized emulation of the classic HP-12C calculator gives me all the power and functionality of the original for a fraction of the cost.

Works just like the real thing. You can use the mouse and or the keyboard. Very cool.

I like this calculator functionality and it works the same as HP-12C and app on iPhone. One suggested area for improvement ... to be able to copy the result into the x register into the clipboard…where that result could be pasted into another App such as Excel, etc.

The HP 12C remains an amazing financial calculator over the years and the Mac version has all of the great functionality that I use. But the Mac version does not respond to copy and paste which would be soooo useful. When I’m working on a project with numbers and need some calculation I want to be able to copy a number or two, paste into the 12C to do some calculations and copy the result back into the document. Even the Windows calculator has copy and paste and sometimes that feature alone causes me to go into Parallels to use the Windows calculator. Can you add copy & paste to an otherwise great app?

I would like to use the ALG notation that is supported on the 12c Platinum edition. Since the current version does not support the ALG notation, can you refund my purchase. Thanks

I can look up how to find what I need, on the Internet, faster than using this thing. Not intuitive at all.

It works. Simple, dependable. Great app. This is the way apps should be.

I used to have three of these throughout my investment and business career. One was laying around all the time and always needing a new battery. Now I don’t have that problem and the exact same functionality is at my fingertips. It’s the best and I’m grateful to have this calculator “at the ready” for constant use.

I’ve been using the HP 12C since the ‘80s. This one does just what it’s supposed to do: Replicate the original. And it’s got some nice enhancements that don’t get in the way.

I have been using HP calculators since the 70’s when I was in college. Stated with a Canon and rapidly gradguated to the TI, but once I tried an HP when they hit the market, I was hooked for life. This 12c emulator works like the real thing, and is much cheapor. Plus, it links right into your computer and the real world problems you have to solve. Can’t beat the actual 12c for portability, but it is great to solve problems on your laptop when shopping for houses, cars, etc., and then copying the results to your notes before you hit the streets and the showrooms when you’re back to touchy-feely shopping.

Works just like my old trustie HP12C I used to carry around in my work bag. Sooo much more convenient to have on my phone.

I have been using an HP12 for over 25 years. This app is the best performing version for Mac that I have found. Well worth the price.
