I bought an HP 34 in 1975 and have loved the machine ever since. So I dont like the display font - yes, it clearer than the original, and I guess most people will like it better than the old computer font. I also am annoyed by the bird in the title. One cant use the old "HP" and "34 stacked in a box, but some have simply put "fin" and "34 in the same box. Warms my heart. Sorry.
I also find the spacing of the keys to be to far apart vertically. It is actually easier to have a slightly smaller screen and not have to move so far between keys. The version (by another firm) that I have on my iphone is easier to use even with the bad mouse (!) and the much smaller calculator image.
Its functions are great, and it lets me use the Łukasiewicz notation! (he invented Reverse Polish Notation.) In English, it works like an HP34 and those of us who love it, love it.
The author seems to be working to fix any bugs, which is great.
Its a bit pricey.
